1. Using DashNow

When you sign up for or use DashNow, you’re agreeing to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

2. What DashNow Is

DashNow is a place for people to share videos, comment, chat, send private messages, make friends, and more.

3. Who Can Join

You must be at least 13 years old (or have parental permission if your local laws require it). By joining, you confirm you meet this requirement.

4. Your Content & Responsibility

You’re fully responsible for anything you post or send—public (videos, comments) or private (DMs). That means:

No illegal, hateful, harassing, or otherwise objectionable content.
No content you don’t own or aren’t allowed to share.
No spamming, scamming, or abusing other users.

We don’t pre-approve everything, but we can review and remove anything that breaks these rules—even private messages if flagged for abuse.

By posting content on DashNow, you confirm that you own all necessary rights or have permission to share it. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, adapt, display, and perform your content in connection with DashNow and its promotion, including on other platforms like YouTube.

You agree not to upload content that infringes on others’ rights and will indemnify DashNow against any claims arising from your content.

This license continues even if you delete your content from DashNow, but only as long as necessary to keep our systems running smoothly or to comply with legal obligations.

5. How We Use Your Content

By sharing videos, comments, or messages on DashNow, you let us:

Store and display your content (videos, comments, chat messages).
Use anonymized data to train recommendation, moderation, and analytics tools.

This permission continues even if you delete your post, only as long as it’s needed to keep our systems running smoothly. You retain ownership of your content.

6. Data & Privacy

Here’s exactly what we collect and store in our database:

Account info: username, hashed password (if registered with email), display name, hashed email, Discord ID, avatar URL, registration date, last login, ban status, admin status, hashed IP, videos history.
Profile lists: your friends, pending requests, subscriptions, subscribers, uploaded videos, liked videos/comments (all stored as JSON arrays).
Videos: titles, descriptions, upload timestamps, aspect ratio flags, views, likes, watch time, review status, duration.
Comments: comment text, timestamps, edit status, parent/child hierarchy, like counts.
Chat messages: full message content, sender/receiver IDs, timestamps.
Reports: reports you submit on videos—reporter ID, reason, details, status, timestamp, hashed IP address.
Bugs: errors encountered on DashNow, collected via a tracker (which may include browser, OS, and technical context).
Session data: session tokens, creation/expiration times, hashed IP, user-agent, revocation flag.
Stats updates: viewer hashed IP, video viewed, user ID (if logged in), timestamp.
Technical logs: your device info (hashed IP, browser, OS), usage logs to keep things secure.

We use this data to run and secure DashNow, prevent abuse, give you recommendations, and moderate content (including flagged DMs). We never sell your data.

Session authentication is handled using cookies and localStorage stored on your device. These are only used to keep you logged in—no third-party trackers are used on DashNow.

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. If you request deletion, all associated data will be removed permanently.

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete any personal info we hold. To do so, contact tos@dashnow.tv.

7. What’s Not Allowed

Don’t use DashNow to:

Break the law or infringe on copyrights.
Harass, threaten, or bully anyone (public or private).
Run unauthorized scripts, bots, or scrapers.
Disrupt the site or try to hack it.
Upload content you dont own or dont have permission to upload.
Post or share sexually explicit or NSFW content.

8. If Things Go Wrong

We can suspend or close your account if you violate these terms or harm the community. We’ll try to let you know, but in serious cases we act immediately.

9. No Guarantees

DashNow is provided “as is.” We can’t promise it’ll be online 100% of the time or error-free.

10. Limiting Liability

To the extent allowed by law, DashNow and its team aren’t liable for any losses or damages from using (or not being able to use) the platform.

11. You Defend Us, We Defend You

If someone sues us over something you did here, you agree to cover our costs and help defend against the claim.

13. Changing These Terms

We might tweak these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll update this page. Continuing to use DashNow means you accept the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms follow French law. Any disputes go before the courts in France.
